Why is a commissioned painting more expensive than buying the original?
Prices for commissions will always be greater than original paintings as recreating a painting requires more work and more time, just as anything you get custom-made. It can be very difficult to recreate the exact same colours and design because my art is very spontaneous (I do not follow a step-by-step recipe!). Please also remember that prices include expensive art materials, the time I spend creating the painting (and quite often the canvas itself) but also the 'intellectual property'.

Money back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, just send it back in its original condition and packaging within 15 days (30 days for overseas) and I will refund you promptly (less postage/packaging costs). Delivery and pickup: I paint on stretched canvases but if you are commissioning a large piece, I can start the painting on unstretched canvas and send it rolled and safely packed in a strong plastic tube to save on delivery costs. This also allows you to have the painting framed to your taste or restretched later.
